It’s autumn, or fall as they call it overseas. And you know what that means — snowboard movie premiere season. Yep, just like the 90`s.

On Saturday, October 10, Torgeir Bergrem and Ståle Sandbech premiered their new snowboard film, YATZY, at Carls in Oslo. Snowboarders from several generations showed up, making for a great night.

Norwegian snowboard legend Truls Omtvedt, author of Norsk Snowboardhistorie (Norwegian Snowboard History), was there selling and signing copies of his book.

We need more events like this. So make sure you show up and support the snowboard film premieres this fall, people! There are more to come, including Wayward, Mia Lambson’s documentary about how women have revolutionized and shaped snowboard culture and the evolution of the sport. Screening at Vega Scene in Oslo on October 28. See you there.
